Red Sox Could Buy Pawsox

Owners of the Boston Red Sox already own a pro soccer team and a NASCAR team, and soon might be the new owners of a minor league baseball team.Reports out of Boston indicate Red Sox ownership might be in the process of purchasing their triple A affiliate Pawtucket Red Sox. While it's not certain if the entire ownership is involved in the purchase or just one, something seems to be in the works.

Ben Mondor owned the team until his death in 2010 and is now controlled by his heirs.
