Red Sox pitching coach Dana LeVangie is out as pitching coach as the team continues to make moves after the disappointing season.

LeVangie has been with the Sox organization since he was drafted as a catcher back in 1991. He worked his way up the coaching ladder, first as the bullpen coach and then as pitching coach for the past two years.

He has been reassigned to the pro scouting department with the team.

That makes the second coaching staff change. Assistant hitting coach Andy Barkett was let go last week.
