The list of finalists for the 2014 Travis Roy awards includes Justin Courtney of the Bangor Rams.The award is given annually to the best class A senior hockey player in the state. Joining Courtney as finalists are Nik Lemieux of Biddeford, Kyle Lemelin of Lewiston, and Thornton Academy's Alex Fallon.

Courtney who served as co-captain for the Rams this season finished with 10 goals and 19 assists. The defenseman was also a valuable member of the teams powerplay unit.

The award will be given out Sunday in Lewiston as part of the All-State banquet. Parker Sanderson became the first Bangor player to win the award when he received the honor last season. Courtney also becomes the fourth Ram to make the list of finalists in the last five years joining Sanderson, Chris Howat (2012), and Nick George (2010).
