Terry Rozier seems to like his new role as starting guard for the Boston Celtics. He scored a career-high 31 points Friday night against the Atlanta Hawks in a 118-110 C's win.

Rozier is starting because Kyrie Irving is out with a thigh injury. The 31 point night follows a triple-double in his first ever NBA start earlier in the week.

Jayson Tatum also scored a career-high 27 points in the win.

Not only did Irving miss last night's game, so too did Marcus Morris (hip), Marcus Smart (hand) and Shane Larkin (knee).

The Celtics improve to an Eastern Conference best 38-15 and take on the Portland Trailblazers Super Bowl Sunday at noon.

NOTE; Sunday's game is live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket with coverage starting at 11:30am.
