Lt. James Boudreau of the Windham Police Department and Superintendent Sanford Prince addressed the public during a press conference at 11 AM today regarding the threatening emails received by school personnel on Monday at RSU14. The juvenile responsible for sending those emails has been arrested.

Windham Police and the Maine Computer Crimes Task Force collaborated to determine who sent threatening emails to school officials. The schools were put on lock down Monday morning, then all students were dismissed early and the school remained closed Tuesday and Wednesdays as the investigation continued.

A 16-year-old male juvenile was arrested Tuesday and he's charged with 8 counts of Criminal Terrorizing. Lt. Boudreau said the boy is not currently a student at any of the schools in the RSU14 district, which covers the Windham and Raymond.
