Game one of the ALCS goes to the Houston Astros. A 7-2 win over the Red Sox in a game that was a bit unusual in many ways.

Consider the following - the Astros scored seven time on just five hits. With Chris Sale and Justin Verlander starting the game, they combined to walk eight batters. Sale also hit a batter while Verlander threw two wild pitches. Alex Cora got ejected from the game for arguing balls and strikes.

In the end, the Astros pitched better, fielded better and hit two home runs while the Sox managed just three hits.

Game two is tonight at Fenway. It will be David Price vs Gerrit Cole.
