Scarborough LL Falls To Rhode Island 5-2

If the Scarborough Little League team is going to win the New England Regional and make it to Williamsport the team will have to do it from the loser's bracket after a 5-2 loss to Rhode Island Monday afternoon.

The loss drops Scarborough to 1-1 and will play an elimination game Tuesday at 7pm against Connecticut.

Scarborough won the Maine championship at the state tournament in Orrington in late July.

One team from each of the six New England states are in Bristol, Connecticut playing for the right to go to the LL World Series.
