SLWS Tuesday Scores,Bangor Now 2-0 [PHOTOS]

The Bangor Senior League All-Stars scored 11runs in the 6th inning on their way to a 13-3 win over the Commonwealth of the Northern Marina Islands on Monday night.Trailing 3-2 going into the top of the 6th inning Bangor sent 16 men to the plate, 6 of them drew a walk, one got hit by a pitch, and five got hits. When it ended 11 runs had crossed the plate and Bangor improved to 2-0 in the tourney.

Trevor Delaite led the Bangor offense with 4 hits and 4 rbi's while Derek Fournier followed up his three hit performance in the opening game with 3 more on Monday and drove in another run.

Jesse Colford pitched the complete game allowing just 6 hits to get the win.

Bangor will have Tuesday off before playing Virginia on Wednesday live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
