The beat goes on for the Husson University football team who jumped on the back of John Smith who carried the Eagles to a 54-8 thumping of Gallaudet for their 5th straight win.Not only have the Eagles (5-1) won 5 straight this season, they also extended their conference winning streak to 11 games in the ECFC dating back to last season.

Smith ran all over the Bison defense for a total of 135 yards and 3 touchdowns. Seven different players carried the ball for the Eagles who finished with 272 yards rushing on the day. Quarterback Joe Seccareccia only put the ball in the air 11 times, completing 7 of those passes for 90 yards and 3 touchdowns.

The Husson defense was stout once again limiting Gallaudet to just 117 yards of total offense, 59 yards in the air and 58 yards on the ground. Jean Gabriel and Bryant Wade were the tackle leaders with 6 each.
