Smith ECFC Player of Week, Eagles Climb Polls

Husson University senior RB John Smith is Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) Player of the Week for his efforts in Saturday's 28-7 win over Endicott.

Smith rushed 39 times for 301 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught a 10 yard pass for a total of 311 all-purpose yards, a new school record.

He now has eight 200+ rush yard games and 29 100+ rush yard games in his career.

Smith is 4th in the nation among Division III teams averaging 183 rushing YPG and 6th in the nation with 732 rush yards.
