Red Sox Add Ryan Dempster

The Boston Red Sox hope they've bolstered their starting rotation after agreeing to terms with righty Ryan Dempster.The deal will pay $26.5 million over the next two seasons. Dempster made 12 starts for Texas after being traded from the Cubs in July posting a record of 6-1. He will join a rotation that includes John Lester, Clay Buchholz, Felix Doubront and John Lackey.
