Making his second start since coming off the DL, he struggled with control at times walking four batters, but managed to keep the injury riddled Yankees in check.

Red Sox hitters continued to swing hot bats with Daniel Nava getting 4 hits, Mike Napoli had a 2-run homer, while David Ortiz, Dustin Pedroia, and Xander Bogaerts each drove in 2 runs.

After taking Monday off the Sox begin a 3-game series at Fenway against the Orioles.
