Hanley Ramirez and David Ortiz hit. David Price pitched. And, it all happened on the same night. The Red Sox scored a 9-4 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Ramirez hit two 3-run homers in the first two innings to bust things open early.

Ortiz added a solo shot and it was his 1,000th extra base hit in a Red Sox uniform. He joins only Ted Willams and Carl Yastrzemski to do that.

David Price gave up two runs in the first inning and then settled in. He pitched eight innings, allowing three runs, 10 hits, eight strikeouts and just one walk. He picked up his 10 the win.

Baltimore won Friday night, Toronto lost, so the Sox remain two games behind the O's and now one game behind the Jays in the loss column in the AL East.
