The Milwaukee Brewers kicked around Red Sox pitching all night long, starting in the first inning when Drew Pomeranz got lit up for five runs. It ended in an 11-7 victory for the Brew Crew.

Pomeranz gave up six runs and seven hits in four innings of work.

Every time the Sox got back in the game with their offense another Sox gave runs back to Milwaukee. Heath Hembree three runs. Ben Taylor two runs.

The bad pitching spoiled a big night for Mookie Betts who had four hits and four RBI. Andrew Benintendi had three hits and two RBI.

The inconsistent Sox are 17-15 and play the Brewers again tonight.
