Sox SS Stephen Drew To Play At Hadlock

Red Sox shortstop Stephen Drew will DH for the Portland Seadogs tonight, play in the field Friday night for the Dogs and then play at Fenway for the Sox on Saturday...or at least that is the plan.

Drew has not played since June 28th because of a hamstring strain. His appearance at Hadlock Field in Portland will be his second of the year. Back in April Drew rehabbed with the Seadogs while recovering from a spring training concussion.

The Seadogs could use Drew these days. Portland has lost 6 straight and have a 1-8 in the last nine games.
