One swing of the bat in the 8th inning changed everything at Fenway Park Friday night. Houston's George Springer ripped a two-run home run off Red Sox pitcher Rick Porcello to give the Astros a lead they would not give up.

The first rematch of the 2018 ALCS goes to Houston 3-1.

Porcello handcuffed the Astros for seven innings, scattering six hits. The Sox had a 1-0 lead.

The Astros scored an unearned run off Ryan Brasier to grab a 3-1 lead.

The Sox offense could not get that key hit, leaving 10 runners on base and going just 1-for-11 with runners in scoring postion.

Xander Bogaerts and Christian Vazquez led the Sox with three hits each.

The Sox drop to 23-21 while Houston has the best record in the American League at 30-15.

As for that Springer home run that changed everything, Sox manager Alex Cora says 'blame me'...
