Sox Will See Hamels Up Close [VIDEO]

After an off-season filled with Cole Hamels trade talk, the Red Sox and their fans get to see him today. Hamels pitches against the Sox in today's season opener in Philadelphia.

The Sox got down to the 25-man roster limit by placing Koji Uehara, Joe Kelly and Edwin Escobar on the 15-DL. Catcher Christian Vazquez is on the 60-day DL.

David Ortiz is expected to start at first base not MIke Napoli.

The Phillies are in full rebuild mode although they do have veterans such as Ryan Howard and Chase Utley.
