State Police Investigating Death of Man Found Inside His Home

State Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found inside his home. The man lived in the house with his teenage son.

Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland said in a press release that the body of 49-year-old Steven Hodgdon of Troy was found by Waldo County Deputies after they were called to the home at 188 Rutland Road around 2:30 Saturday morning. Hogdon lives at the home with his teenage son.

An autopsy is scheduled Sunday at the State Medical Examiner's office in Augusta. The son is now staying with other relatives.
