States Top Lineman To Be Recognized

Six finalists have been announced for the Frank Gaziano Memorial Offensive and Defensive Lineman Awards. The award recognizes high school lineman for their performance on and off the field. This years finalists include:

Offensive Linemen

• Greg Grinnell - Cheverus
• Ethan Liberty - Skowhegan
• Jedidiah Scott - Sanford

Defensive Linemen

• Jacob Fogel - Portland
• Colin Richards - Mt. Blue
• Luke Washburn - Oak Hill

The offensive and defensive winners each receive $5,000 dollar scholarships while the four runner-ups get $1,000 dollar scholarships.

The winners will be announced at a banquet January 25th at the Augusta Civic Center.
