A sellout crowd at the Portland Expo roared with approval as 7-foot-6 Tacko Fall came onto the floor about three minutes into the game Friday night. The Maine Red Claws home opener was a big hit and 103-100 win over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

Fall played 27 minutes, scored 16 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked six shots.

Another so called two-way players for the Celtics, Tremont Waters, had 17 points and seven assists.

Yante Maten led the Red Claws in scoring with 22 points.

The Celtics G-League team is now 2-0 with another home game at the Expo Sunday afternoon.
