Former Washburn High School standout Carsyn Koch is a national women's track champion after setting a new record in the 2016 NCAA Division II Indoor 800 Meter race She competes for Cedarville University Ohio.

She is just a freshman at Iowa State but Kate Hall from Casco will attempt to win an NCAA national championship tonight as she competes in the long jump.
