Boston University beat the UMaine Women's Basketball team 62-49. The Black Bears drop to 1-2 this season

UMaine Junior Guard Dor Saar set a new career high with 21 points, she also made a career high six three pointers in the effort but it wasn't enough to push UMaine past Boston University at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.

The Bears played most of the game without Blanca Millan, she left the game just 49 seconds after it started because of a cut above her left eye. It happened when she dove for a loose ball. Millan returned with about 1 minute to play in the third quarter, but only played 12 minutes, she did score 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds, three of those were offensive rebounds.

Maine plays at NC State Tuesday night.
