Cyclists will average about 55 miles per day, and according to the BikeMaine 2015 website, you'll travel on "uncrowded, safe and quiet roadways, through small towns rich in local culture."

The price to join the full trek is $925, and includes most meals and camping.  Other price packages include biking for half the week, and for friends who will not be biking but would  like to join you at the various destinations. Register right there at their website.
