Ben True and Riley Masters will have one last chance to qualify for the Rio Olympics Saturday as they compete in the 5,000 meter finals in Oregon.

True failed to qualify on Friday night for the 10,000 meter race after staying near the top during early parts of the competition.  He finished in 11th place overall in the heat.

Other Mainers who competed on Friday and Saturday in Carsyn Koch and Kate Hall failed to move on as the former did not advance from her initial heat on Friday and the latter came up short in her long jump event with a distance of 20 feet and 9.75 inches.

The race for True and Masters is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. on Saturday evening.
