UM Bears Play Final Game Before Break

For UMaine basketball teams it's one more game before the Christmas break. The Black Bear women's team will host Towson today at 2PM at the Cross Center in Bangor. The men's team is on the road at Providence at 2PM.

Richard Barron's women's team is 5-5 and coming off three straight losses.

The Towson Tigers are 4-6.

Maine owns the series history over the Tigers with a 13-1 record over the years. The one loss came last season in the game at Towson.

Ted Woodward's men's team is seeking its first D-1 win of the season when they play the Friars and it will not be easy. Providence is 9-1.

The Friars own the series history 10-1.
