After losing the first game of a doubleheader to Wisconsin-Green Bay 11-3, the UMaine softball needed a good pitching performance in game two...and the Black Bears got one.

Sophomore Molly Flowers pitched a no-hitter and Maine won 6-0.

Flowers(3-2) struck out nine and walked four in her seven inning no-hitter. She faced 26 batters.

Rachel Carson led a 10-hit attack on offense with three hits.

The Black Bears are now 5-6 on their Florida trip.

NOTE:  UMaine baseball lost to Bucknell 6-3 in Florida. The Bears have lost four in a row and have a 4-12 record.
