UNH McDonnell Nat’l Coach Of Year

UNH coach Sean McDonnell was in Philadelphia Monday night to accept his second Eddie Robinson Award as FCS national coach of the year.

His Wildcats went 10-1 and entered the playoffs as the #1 seed. UNH plays in the national semi-final Saturday vs Eastern Illinois.

Villanova QB Jon Robertson won the Walter Payton Award as the best player in the FCS. He received 66 first place votes out of 160 cast.

Robertson threw for over 2,600 yards, 34 TDs and just 3 interceptions. 'Nova went 10-2 during the season and lost in the quarterfinal round last Saturday.
