The USM Huskies have punched their ticket to the Division-3 College World Series for the second straight year. Coach Ed Flaherty and his Huskies head to Appleton, Wisconsin for the 8-team, double-elimination championship.

 

USM (35-13) will take on the (40-7) UWisconsin-Whitewater Warhawks Friday night at 8:45pm Friday night. It will be the fourth game on opening day of the CWS.

 

The tournament is played at Fox Cities Stadium. It is home for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers team, the Class A minor league team of the Milwaukee Brewers.

 

Linfield, Emory, Cortland State, Baldwin Wallace U., St. Thomas(Minn), Salisbury are the other teams in the 2014 CWS.
