Harvard's Jimmy Vesey is the 2016 Hobey Baker Award winner - college hockey's top player. Vesey scored 24 goals and totaled 46 points for the Crimson.

Vesey beat out Boston College goalie Thatcher Demko and Michigan freshman Kyle Connor.

Vesey is a senior and has elected to not sign with the Nashville Predators, the team that drafted him. Instead, he will be an unrestricted free agent on August 15th.

There has been speculation that the Boston Bruins may sign the Harvard product.
