Victorino Homers Twice Leads Sox

The Boston Red Sox have struggled this season against the Baltimore Orioles but you wouldn't know that after the Sox cruised to a 13-2 win at Fenway Park.Many players contributed to the offensive explosion but Shane Victorino led the charge with a three hit night that included a 2-run homer and a 3-run homer. He would drive in 7 runs in total. Jacoby Ellsbury and Dustin Pedroia each added three hits.

Felix Doubront got the job done on the mound allowing just 4 hits over 6.2 innings while striking out 7. Doubront improves his record to 10-6 with the win.

The Sox now lead the AL East by 2 1/2 games thanks to the Angels beating Tampa Bay 6-5. Boston's magic number to win the division is also reduced to 29.
