Yarmouth's Oliver Wahlstrom helps get Team USA to the quarterfinal round of the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship.

In four preliminary round games, Wahlstrom has a goal and two assists as Team USA has gone 3-0-1-0.

Wahlstrom is the son of former UMaine player Joakim Wahlstrom and is a freshman at Boston College. He was the #11 pick in last June's NHL draft, taken by the New York Islanders.

Team USA is the #2 seed in Group B and will play the Czech Republic, the #3 seed from Group A on Wednesday night.

The World Tournament, which showcases the best Under 20-year-old players in the world, continues through the weekend in Vancouver.
