Sarah Robinson may not have known cancer was creeping in to her body when she did, if it had not been for her drumming.

There was a feeling that just wasn't right in her arm and hand, and after a gig with the family band, Sarah got that feeling checked out, and it turned into a brain cancer diagnosis.

It was during her treatment that Sarah realized other people in Maine enduring cancer treatment were spending far too much time and expense on the road.

When Sarah passed, her family kicked in to action to be sure her wish of a comfortable place to stay while dealing with cancer treatments, was realized. Her family is supported by the community, and Rotary Clubs in the region, as they work to make Sarah's Cancer Hospitality of House of Maine a reality.
