Whitten,Black Win Weekly Awards

The Husson softball team has returned from its spring trip to Florida with a 5-3 record and the Merrill sisters are a big reason why. Kayla and Lyndsey have been named NAC pitcher of the week and player of the week, respectively.

Kayla won four of the five games, pitching 30-innings with an ERA of 2.33

Lyndsey batted .407 with 6 RBI and 7 runs scored.

Husson's J.T. Whitten is NAC baseball player of the week. He hit .417 with 6 RBI and 6 runs scored down in Florida spring trip action for the Eagles baseball team.

And, the America East baseball player of the week is Troy Black from UMaine. He hit .464 with 5 RBI and 6 runs scored.
