Just two days after suffering a loss at Albany the UMaine women's basketball team bounced back on the road with a 62-52 win over New Hampshire.Liz Wood ignited the Bears by scoring a career high 23 points on 9-11 shooting which included hitting all three shots from behind the arch. Wood also pulled down 7 rebounds, blocked a shot and grabbed 3 steals.

Sigi Koizar hit a 3-pointer ten seconds into the game to open the scoring and would continue to lead the entire game as the Bears improved their record to 13-7 overall and 4-1 in America East.

Koizar was the Bears second leading scorer with 20 points while Lauren Bodine drained 3 3-pointers and finished with 11 points.

Maine will now have the rest of the week off before hosting Stony Brook at the Cross Center Sunday at 1pm.
