The Bangor all-stars won the opener of the 2013 Senior League World Series 8-1 over Cape Breton Nova Scotia.Justin Courtney was solid on the mound going 4.2 innings allowing just 3 hits and a run while striking out 8.

Ben Crichton, Jordan Derrah and Ryan Brookings all helped offensively by knocking in 2 runs apiece.
