The Hampden Broncos had all they could handle when they matched up Saturday afternoon with Oxford Hills. The Broncos won 66-58 to stay unbeaten (16-0). Hampden's win streak is now at 38. The home winning streak has reached 37.

But the Vikings from Oxford Hills made the Broncos work for the win. It was a three point game several times in the final quarter but the Vikes could never get closer.

Zach Gilpin, Nick Gilpin and Matt Martin combined to go 14 for 14 from the foul line in the 4th quarter to keep the Vikings at bay. Zach Gilpin finished with 30 points.

Sophomore center Andrew Fleming scored 23 to lead Oxford Hills.

While Hampden is now 16-0, Oxford Hills falls to 10-6.

The game marked the first time Hampden and Oxford Hills have made in regular season play in the history of the schools.
