As Boston Bruins rookie training camp begins today in Boston, the top question is this - could #1 draft pick, 18-year-old David Pastrnak really make the Bruins opening night roster?

The answer appears to be yes.

Pastrnak was picked #25 at the June draft. He is a winger from the Czech Republic and his favorite NHL player is David Krejci, who just signed a new contract extension with the B's.

Pastrnak is a highly skilled player, listed at  5-foot-10 and 165-pounds.

He turned heads so much during the team's summer development camp that GM Peter Chiarelli signed him to an entry level contract

Pastrnak has also been impressive at recent informal captain's practices where he has competed with several current Bruins players.

Bruins rookies begin their camp today. The Bruins full training camp begins next Thursday, September 18th. NHL opening night is October 8th.
