USM Vs Wisc-Whitewater At CWS

For the 8th time in his 29 years of coaching at the University of Southern Maine, coach Ed Flaherty leads his Huskies to the Division-3 College World Series. USM knows the Appleton, Wisconsin landscape well – the Huskie made it to the national championship game a year ago, losing to Linfield(Oregon) in the title game.

USM(35-13) takes on Wisconsin-Whitewater(40-7) tonight at 8:45pm. The Warhawks have just a two hour drive to get to the CWS.

USM has won 2 national titles, in 1991 and 1997.
