An All Connecticut College Hockey Final

How many of you had Quinnipiac and Yale in the championship game in your NCAA college hockey pool? Well, it will happen Saturday night at the Frozen Four title game in Pittsburgh.

It will be a battle of two programs never before in this national championship game. Yale earned the spot by beating UMass-Lowell 3-2 in overtime. Quinnipiace handled St. Cloud St 4-1 in its semi-final.

Yale was the 15th ranked team in the field of 16 NCAA tournament teams and the last at-large team to get a spot.

Quinnipiac has been ranked #1 for most of the second half of the college hockey season.
