The University of Maine Football team will try for its first road win of the season when they travel to Albany while the Husson looks for a second conference win at Anna Maria.Jack Cosgrove's Black Bears will try to rebound from a tough loss at Richmond a week agao and face a Great Danes team that has given the Bears fits. Albany came to Orono and beat Maine a year ago and are 3-5 all time against Albany.

Cosgrove indicated this week that he is looking for more consistency from quarterbacks Dan Collins and Drew Belcher who have been unable to generate the offence that is expected. Running back Nigel Beckford has also not performed to the liking of the Maine coaching staff with only 224 yards in 3 games.

Kickoff form U Albany Stadium is set for 3:30pm.

The Husson Eagles will look to improve to 2-0 in conference play when they travel to Anna Maria for an. The Eagles have not lost a conference game since November of 2013 and have an 8-game ECFC winning streak.

The Husson defense goes into the game as the 6th ranked defense in the country allowing just 192 yards per game. They face an AMCATS offense that only averages 14 points per game. The Eagles are led by linebacker Ellis Throckmorton who has 32 tackles and safety Kenny Sweet who has 22 tackles to go along with 3 interceptions.

Eagles quarterback Joe Seccareccia is coming off ECFC Offensive Player of the Week honors and will lead a balanced attack that can beat teams with the run or pass.

Husson is 5-2 all-time against the AMCATS and have won the last two games by a combined score of 77-34.
