Make it two straight wins for the Red Sox over the National League's Atlanta Braves. Saturday afternoon an 8-6 victory with a lot of Sox players chipping in.

The Braves jumped out to a 3-0 lead early as Drew Pomeranz struggled again. He lasted just 3.2 innings.

The rest of the day the Boston bullpen pretty much shut down the Braves. Steven Wright pitched three scoreless innnings to get the win. Craig Kimbrel picked up his 16th save.

On offense, the Sox got three hits from Andrew Benintendi, including a home run, triple and three RBI.

Mitch Moreland had a double and a triple, driving in two runs.

The game also marked the return of Dustin Pedroia who played in his first game of the season coming of serious knee surgery. He went 0-for-4 with a walk and hit the ball hard twice.

The Sox improve to 36-16, that's 20 games over .500.

Chris Sale starts Sunday afternoon at 1pm in the series finale.
