The Red Sox exploded for 10 runs, 14 hits (three home runs) in a 10-4 beatdown of the Cleveland Indians last night. That snaps a mini three-game losing streak.

Xander Bogaerts ripped two home runs, Mitch Moreland ripped a two-run homer and Andrew Benintendi had a bases clearing double to lead the charge.

A lot of the dameage was done while Carlos Carrasco was on the hill. He is a 15 game winner.

Matt Barnes got credit for the win for the Sox. He pitched a scoreless inning in relief after Brian Johnson was pulled with one out in the fifth inning.

The victory puts the Sox back to the 50 game over .500 mark at 89-39.

It also means the Sox remain the only team in baseball not to have at least a four game losing streak this season.

Game four of the Cleveland series in today at 1pm. Live coverage of Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket begins at 12:20pm.
