Clay Buchholz threw a three-hit shutout against Tampa Bay Sunday afternoon in the Red Sox 3-0 win. Buchhholz needed just 98 pitches. He retired the final 12 batters he faced.

For Buchholz, it's his second shutout of the year, his second complete game of the year and his second straight very good start.

Buchholz did not walk a batter Sunday and he struck out six.

On the offensive side, Mookie Betts had two hits and a RBI. David Ortiz and Christian Vazquez had the other RBI's.

Dustin Pedroia did not play. He is suffering from concussion like symptoms.
