Simply put, the Boston Bruins can't beat the Washington Capitals. A 5-3 loss last night makes it 11 straight losses to the Caps.

The Bruins were in this game, trailing 2-1 after two periods. Washington's Alex Chiasson scored twice in the first 11 minutes of the third period to extend the Cpas lead.

B's veteran Patrice Bergeron scored two goals, including his 265th career goal. That moves him past Bobby Orr for 8th place on the all-time Bruins list.

Braden Holtby made 33 saves for Washington. Anton Khudobin made 16 for the B's.

The Caps get their 20th of the season (20-12-1). The Bruins are 15-10-4.
