Cuban outfielder Rusney Castillo made his long awaited major league debut last night against the Pittsburh Pirates. But even he couldn't change the karma of this team that looks like it is sleep walking through September.

The Sox lost to the Pirates 9-1.

Castillo's first big league hit came in his second at bat (above)...it was his only hit on the night.

Meanwhile, Clay Buchholz was simply terrible. Four innings of work, giving up five runs. Steven Wright came on to give up another 4 runs in one inning of relief work.

While the Sox collected just five hits, the Pirates pounded out 15. That includes three home runs (below)...
