The Maine Men's Hockey Team tied the UMass Lowell River Hawks in Massachusetts Sunday afternoon, 1-1, before losing in the shootout. The game was deadlocked with 5 seconds left in regulation when Victor Ostman made a Sportscenter Top 10 Play Worthy save, flashing his glove as UMass Lowell had a clear shot on goal on a wrap-around. The University of Maine Men's Basketball Team lost to Vermont 74-65 at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor on Wednesday, February 8th. The game was delayed for almost a hour and half, after it was determined that the basketball court had been put down incorrectly and it was unsafe to play on. Workers had to reinstall about half the court, before the game could proceed.
