The final Class D North Quarterfinal was played Friday night, June 9th and saw the #3 Woodland Dragons knock off the #6 Fort Fairfield Tigers, 8-2.

The #6 Mt. Ararat Eagles upset #3 Skowhegan 3-0 in the final Class A North Quarterfinal. The win by the Eagles means that the Top 3 seeds, Brewer, Oxford Hills and Skowhegan all lost in the Quarterfinals.

The #3 Ellsworth Eagles only had 3 hits, yet they beat the #6 John Bapst Crusaders in a Class B Quarterfinals 9-3 on Thursday night, June 8th at Husson University. Ellsworth scored 7 runs in the 3rd inning.

Bucksport's Gavyn Holyoke threw a 1-hitter striking out 10 and went 2-3 from the plate as the Bucksport Golden Bucks beat the Orono Red Riots 7-0 on Thursday afternoon in a Class C Quarterfinal.

The #1 Mattanawcook Academy Lynx beat the #9 Narraguagus Knights 6-4 on Thursday afternoon June 8th in a Class C Quarterfinal.

The Penobscot Valley Athletic Conference released their Class D All-Conference Teams in Baseball and Softball today, Thursday, June 8th. Congratulations to all.

Kam Douin and Landon Foster combined for a no-hitter and the #2 Cony Rams beat the the #10 Hermon Hawks 9-0 in a Class B Quarterfinals on Wednesday, June 7th.

The #8 Edward Little Red Eddies knocked off the top-ranked Brewer Witches 4-3 on Wednesday night, June 7, scoring 2 runs in the top of the 7th inning

UMaine recruit Gabe Gifford flirted with a no-hitter, allowing just 1 hit on Wednesday afternoon as #1 Old Town beat #9 MDI 8-0 at Mahaney Diamond on the University of Maine Campus in a Class B North Quarterfinal playoff game.

The #7 Bangor Rams upset the #2 Oxford Hills Vikings 8-1 on Wednesday afternoon, June 7th in the Class A North Quarterfinals.
