Bobcats Beat Eagles 88-74
The Husson men's basketball team had a two point lead at hafltime in Lewiston last night but the Bates Bobcats came out and dropped 56 second half points and sent the Eagles to their first loss of the season, 88-74.
Black Bears Score Two Wins
The UMaine men's and women's basketball teams scored home wins last night at the Cross Center against D-III teams. The men beating UMaine Presque Isle and the women halding Maine Maritime Academy.
Maine's newest professional sports team made it official today in Portland. The Maine Mammoth will be an expansion team of the National Arena League (NAL) and indoor football begins in April at the Cross Arena.

Maine's Tracy Guerrette finished the California International Marathon in Sacramento Sunday in a time of 2-hours 48-minutes 40-seconds (2:48:40), not quite fast enough to get her in the Olympic Trials.
