The Boston Celtics tried a little role reversal against the Washington Wizards last night. Get behind by 20+ points in the second half and come back on the opponent.

It worked. Kind of.

The Celtics came all the way back to tie the game at the end of regulation but wound up losing in two overtimes 133-132.

Rookie Marcus Smart, who continues to work his way back from an ankle injury, scored a career-high 23 points.

Jeff Green pumped in 28. Kelly Olynyk had a double-double(19 points,11 rebounds).

John Wall killed the C's most of the night, 26 points and 17 assists. Former CelticPaul Pierce scored 28.
