Christopher, Washburn Lead Skowhegan To Win [VIDEO]

Skowhegan quarterback Marcus Christopher threw three touchdown passes and ran for another as the Indians beat Brewer 36-24 Friday night at Doyle Field.

Christopher and company took the opening kick and drove down the field, scoring on a 23-yard pass from Christopher to Aiden Louder. The Indians missed the PAT and in fact missed every tow-point conversion try.

Brewer took its only lead five minutes later when Andrew Kiley scored on a run from 17-yards out. The two-point was good and the Witches led 8-5.

Skowhegan then scored four unanswered touchdowns.

A 34-yard Christopher to Louder TD pass play. A shuffle-pass play to Hunter Washburn for a score from 15-yards out. A 5-yard TD run by Washburn and a 13-yard TD run by Christopher. The Indians led 30-8 late in the third quarter.

Ethan Hayes and Jacob McCluskey scored late TDs for the Witches.

The win improves Skowhegan to 4-2. Brewer drops to 1-5.
